Parts Needed to Add 7-Way and Brake Controller to a 1998 Ford E-350 with Factory 4-Way
Question:
Looking to upfit my 1998 Ford E350 15 passenger van with a 4 pin factory wiring setup to a 7 pin setup with a proportional brake controller. What are the right products I need? Concerned that the 15 passenger van might need longer wires to reach the engine bay.

To get a 7-Way and brake controller installed on your 1998 Ford E-350 you'll need a 7-Way connector and some additional 10 gauge wire so you can connect all of it to the pre-existing wiring at the back of your van. Here are the parts I recommend picking up to accomplish this:
- Adapter 4-Pole to 7-Pole and 4-Pole # 37185
- 10 Gauge Wire # 10-1-1
- Curt TriFlex NEXT Trailer Brake Controller # C51140
- Curt Custom Wiring Adapter # C51322
