How Far Back on Trailer Frame Does Reese Strait Line Frame Bracket Need to Mount
Question:
Exactly how far back on the frame do the lower brackets mount? As you can see in the photo, I have the trailer electrical cord coming out of the frame about 16inch or so from the coupler center.

For Reese Strait Line weight distribution systems like the part # RP66084 that you referenced the frame brackets will mount on the trailer frame 30 inches back from the center of the coupler ball area. The wiring you mentioned would not work.
