I recently purchased a 2011 Lance 2185 travel trailer, the torsion axles are new to me and I need help in the right direction as to what I need to do to increase ground clearance.? Lift it

Based on the 6,000 lb GVWR of your tandem axle 2011 Lance 2185 travel trailer, the option that is most likely to work is the Torflex Lift Kit - Tandem Axle # K71-707-02.

However, you do need to verify that your Lance travel trailer has a Dexter #10 Torflex axle with a capacity between 2,300 and 4,000 lbs, which is something that should be on the axle tag or sticker. If that's what you have, the # K71-707-02 is the right kit for you.

It is certainly possible for any axle to wear out enough over time to need replacing. Since the suspension is built into a torsion axle if the suspension part was to wear out pretty much the only solution would be to replace the axle. If the…
