Can you go over the final steps ... how to wire up my 7 way...

The Curt Trailer Connector for Ford and GM Trucks item # C57101 connects to existing wiring for a vehicle that came with a 7-way connector from the factory. You would just need to go behind your vehicle's 7-way connector, disconnect the tabs, remove the old connector from the wiring harness, plug your vehicles wiring harness into the back of the Curt connector, and then install it to the mounting bracket.
I have linked a video below that will show you all the steps I have explained.
If your vehicle did not come with a factory 7-way connector you will not have the correct wiring to use this.
