Does Reese M5 5th Wheel Hitch have Enough Turning Clearance for 2023 Chevy Silverado 2500 Short Bed

I’m getting a 2024 Chevy 2500hd diesel 4x4 crew cab short bed. Thinking about the Reese M5 5th wheel hitch. Will it fit the OEM prep kit and will it provide enough clearance for rear of cab?

Reese does have an M5 fifth wheel hitch that fits the OEM rail kit of your 2023 Chevy Silverado 2500HD short bed with the part # RP26FR but the part number you mentioned fits the older version of the rail kit so it wouldn't work.
As far as turning clearance goes you most likely will be fine since most current fifth wheel campers have tapered noses which allow for additional turning clearance and the short bed truck you have is actually a little longer at 6-3/4 foot.
