Can You Remove Regulator on Table Top Grille So You Can Hook Up To Quick Connect Port on Trailer

Question:

My Lance Travel trailer has an exterior quick connect I understand it is low pressure to attach a grill to my on-board propane tank. I have a portable/tabletop nexgrill, currently set up with a regulator to attach to a tank. I want to remove that regulator and add a hose with the correct fittings on both ends. I do understand that I dont need a regulator but I dont know what fittings I need. I suspect they are not universal. Can you help? thanks

I do have some parts for you but I wouldn't have any advice for removing the regulator on your grill, you'd have to either do this yourself or reach out to the manufacturer for assistance. That said, you'll likely need multiple parts and adapters once you remove the regulator. The Quick Disconnect Propane Hose part # 37207-31135 for example has a male quick connect on one end which will attach to the trailer and a 1/4" NPT fitting on the other end which you'll attach to the grill either directly or with an adapter which can be obtained locally. Basically, once you remove the regulator you'll just need to find a fitting that threads into that same spot and has a female 1/4" NPT fittings you can thread the hose onto.

I have attached a full list of our hose selection as well.
