5TH Wheel Rails Needed To Install a Super Glide 5TH Wheel Hitch On a 2023 Chevy Silverado 2500HD
Question:
I have a couple of questions. 1. Does the puck system fit this vehicle? 2. Does the bed of the truck have to be removed to install it? 3. What is required to use the 24k super glide hitch with this puck system. I had a rail system for a Ram 3500, but now have a Chevy 2500 HD High Country. Thank you

To be able to install your 24K Super Glide 5th wheel hitch on your 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD High Country you will need to install above bed rails. Reese does not manufacture a set of there Elite rail systems for your Silverado and haven't had a set since the 2019 model year.
I recommend using the Curt Custom Fifth Wheel Installation Kit # C16429-204 to add a set of in bed rails. These include custom fit under bed brackets to attach the rails in the bed. So you will not need to drill into your frame to attach the brackets. You will not need to remove the bed to install these rails.
