Does Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring System Need Wet Bolts or Bushings

Question:

I’m interested in add the roadmaster kit to my fifth wheel but would like to also add bronze spring eye bushings and wet bolts are any available for this system ? I see them for standard one and three quarter inch springs but not for the two inch used with the roadmaster kit .

So there are not specific bushings and wet bolts available for the Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit with Shock Absorbers - Tandem 5K Trailer Axles # RM-2460-2560, and the good news is that you do not need them. Adding those parts would be spending money on something that wouldn't be an improvement, and I'll explain why for you.

The Comfort Ride actually comes with Never Fail bushings, which are an upgrade over standard bushings because they are self-lubricating and are designed specifically not to wear out. These are going to last much longer and don't require maintenance, unlike a bronze bushing and wet bolts, which will wear out and are something you'll need to keep an eye on.

The Roadmaster Comfort Ride Leaf Spring Suspension Kit # RM-2460-2560 is going to be a great upgrade for you without adding any parts so you made a good choice.
