Question:
What is the measurement from hitch pin hole that goes into my truck receiver to the down pin hole on the BLU28XR? Clicking on the installation details it is stating installations details for part number BX88340. Is BX88340 the same as a BLU28XR? Can BLU28XR be used with a motorcycle hitch hauler rated for up to 500 lbs. since the BLU28XR has a tongue rating of 1,000 lbs.?

The vertical distance from the hitch pin hole of the Blue Ox Adjustable Drop Hitch part # BLU28XR down to the adjustable hitch opening's when in the lowest position is 8 inches. The Blue Ox part number of BX88340 is exact same as our part number BLU28XR.
This can only be used when flat towing a vehicle with a tow bar and cannot be used with a motorcycle carrier.
