The e magnets look worn they are 5/8 thick I believe I read they should be 1 inch, pads are worn pretty bad should I buy just magnet or better to order back plate brake kit. We have exactly what you need, thanks to the measurements you provided, which is a new brake kit based on your description of them. The specifics you provided say you have a 5,200 lb to 7,000 lb axle and the correct electric brakes that will fit your 12" drum are the following:
- Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 12" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 5.2K to 7K # AKEBRK-7-SA.
These are both the left and right brake assemblies, and the other things you will need are the mounting hardware and butt connectors for the wiring:
- Mounting Bolts and Hardware for 12" Brake Assemblies # BRKH12
- Deka Heat Shrink Butt Connector - 12-10 Gauge # DW05745-5
