Electric Trailer brakes. Does it matter which wires get connected to the new replacement brake drums?

With electric trailer brakes such as the Electric Trailer Brake Kit - Self-Adjusting - 12" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 5.2K to 7K # AKEBRK-7-SA, it does not matter which wire is the power wire and which is the ground wire. I added a cut out from the linked help article on electric drum brakes for you which you an see. You will simply need extra 10 gauge wire # 10-1-1 which is sold by the foot so you can get exactly the length you need.
