Can Rear Fascia Door Be Reinstalled on 2014 Buick Enclave After Installing Trailer Hitch
Question:
Just got a 2014 Enclave. Based on the video, it seems the orig. rear fascia door can be re-installed back well, understand it needs to be removed temporarily for the hitch installation. However, in some reviews, it seems another fascia door needs to bought from GM in order to get the hitch hid. The hitch will extend a little. So, the orig. fascia door cannot be reinstalled. Confused.

On the 2014 Buick Enclave you will not be able to reinstall the regular fascia door to cover the hitch receiver after the hitch is installed. You would have to get the alternate from a GM dealer. I have seen that it can be expensive and it has to be painted to match the vehicle.
If you plan on doing some towing with trailer hitch # 75528 then I also recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. it comes with 2 ball mounts, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. For trailer wiring I recommend T-connector # 118270. You will not have to cut and splice into the vehicle wiring to use this harness. I have included a link to the installation details for you. I have also linked a video showing a typical installation of the trailer hitch.
