Is Knob of Hayes Air Actuated Brake Controller # HA100400C Easy to Turn
Question:
How do you adjust the hays 100400c brake controller I found out the when I apply my brakes that their is a lag in the brakes being activated, I released my trailer fifth wheel slide thinking it was my power divider went to a stop afterwards my truck stopped but my trailer did not stop moving forward ripping my safety equipment off the trailer. I read the instructions on the pdf it says to turn the knob to adjust the brake but my knob doesn’t turn at all it moves a little but that’s it I don’t want to twist the crap out of it cause might break it

The adjustment knob of the Hayes Air Actuated Brake Controller # HA100400C that you have should turn pretty easily. If yours isn't turning that would indicate it has a problem and would be need to get replaced most likely.
