Should There be Separate Ground Wire on Curt T-Connector Wiring Harness for 2020 Infiniti QX60
Question:
For the CURT 55441 the ground wire white is installed directly into the connector, instead of hanging like I have seen other harnesses so that it can be attached to the vehicle frame. Should i leave it as it is, or do I need to remove it from the harness and attach it to the frame.

The correct Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for a 2020 Infiniti QX60 is part # C56281. In regards to the installation of the trailer connector harness, this will require an additional ground so you'll either need to find a factory ground stud to tie into or make one of your own with a self tapping screw. This extra ground is needed as the factory ground is determined to be too weak for the aftermarket harness by the manufacturer.
I don't recommend using the Replacement Wiring Harness for Curt T-Connector part # C55441 since it does not contain the relay harness you need and it lacks the extra ground (old design) which is now required by the wiring harness manufacturer for this vehicle.
Unfortunately, I can't recommend you modify a harness.
