Will the Curt CrossWing hitch work with the Curt X5 5TH WHEEL ADAPTER PLATES? Or is there a CrossWing that mounts directly into a BandW gooseneck?

Yes, the Curt CrossWing Lightweight 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch item # C86JR will fit with the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch item # BWGNRK1320 on your 2020 Ram 2500. You will need the Curt X5 5th Wheel Base Rails Adapter for B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck Trailer Hitches item # 16310.
The Curt X5 item # 16310 will provide you with a set of industry standard rails to attach the CrossWing 5th wheel hitch to. It has a square receiver to fit inside the B&W Turnoverball.
