I have ST225/75/15 10PR tires on my camper. Rated for 80 psi cold. As I drive they may gain 7-8 psi. Should I still set the at 80psi cold

It's natural for the psi rating in a tire, like the Provider ST225/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire # TR225LRE, to increase during travel so you're good where you're at with the 80 psi when the tire is cold.

That rating takes into account the rise in pressure during travel which is why tire manufacturers give their psi rating for when the tire is cold. It's easier for users to gauge that rating and it helps put your mind at ease if you check the tires prior to traveling.

Under normal circumstances your tire can increase the psi rating by 20-25% so seeing the 7-8 psi isn't a concern. If you'd like the ability to keep an eye on the psi rating of your trailer tires I recommend picking up a tire pressure monitor system like the TST # TST-507-RV-4-C which comes with a color display, 4 cap-style sensors, and a signal booster to make sure the sensors can communicate with the monitor.
