Recommended Replacement for Atwood MPD 71125 5th Wheel Landing Gear

Question:

I need to replace the right front landing leg on my 2001 Holiday Rambler Alumiscape 5th wheel. The existing one is an Atwood MPD 71125. Do you have any recommendations for a replacement leg for this? I understand Atwood is no longer in business. Thank you.

Helpful Expert Reply:

Atwood was sold to Dometic a few years back and replacement parts for the older landing gear have not been produced in awhile. Instead of trying to source a replacement leg and worrying about the next part failing I recommend replacing the older Atwood landing gear. You can use the Landing Gear Set w/ Handle - 36-1/2" Lift - 8,000 lbs item # RVLG-8HDL to replace the set that is currently on your 5th wheel trailer.

This landing gear set has an 8,000 lbs capacity and extends up to 53-1/4". A motor kit can be added using item # LC142178.
