How to Determine How Far the Thule Force XT XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Will Extend Past a Truck Bed
Question:
I want to install this over my 2021 Tundra truck bed that have a Retrax tonneau cover. I have the Rhino Vortex cross bars that it will be sitting on. My only concern is that it is too long that it will stick really far out pass the bed. By any chance, do you know how far it will stick out? If it is not much, I will be fine with it.

The Thule Force XT XXL Rooftop Cargo Box # TH6359B is a total of 90-1/2" long (approx. 7.5' long). It will extend 54-3/4" back from the center of the front crossbar, that position will be determined by how far back you need to position the bar to clear your cab.
Without knowing the length of your truck bed there really is no way to know how far it would stick out.
If you have the 5.5' bed it would be approx. 2'.
If you have the 6.5' bed it would be approx. 1'
If you have the 8' bed, it should not stick out past the end of the bed
We also have the Thule Force XT L Rooftop Cargo Box # TH6357B which is 74-3/4" long (approx. 6.2' long) if the XT XXL is too long.
