I will be happy to help you set up a new brake system for your Escort Trailer. I'll start from the back and work my way forward. I recommend the etrailer Hydraulic Brake Kit Left/Right Hand item # AKFBBRK-35-D. This is a 3,500 lbs set of brakes that are Marine-grade and designed for surge actuators.

If you have a single axle trailer you will want the Kodiak Hydraulic Brake Line Kit item # 18SI-BLKIT. For tandem axle trailers you will need the Kodiak Hydraulic Brake Line Kit item # 18TA-BLKIT. These are both 18' brake line kits.

For your brake actuator I recommend the Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator item # DM72VR. This actuator is rated up to 7,000 lbs and has an EZ-Latch coupler mechanism for simple, secure hookup and disconnect.

I can't make a recommendation on hubs for your trailer without knowing your lug pattern for your wheels. I would also need some more information on the current springs you have on your trailer. You will want to jack the trailer up on jack stands so the axle is hanging freely, then measure directly across from the center of one spring eye to the other. The height of the spring and the distance from the spring eye to the center of the spring can also be helpful in finding the correct replacement. If you would like to email me back with that information I would be happy to find you a set of hubs and leaf springs.
