Disc Brake Kit that Can be Used on Rockwell 12k Trailer Axle

Good Morning, I have 12k Rockwell axles on a 40foot trailer. What disk brake kit will fit these axles? The tag on the Axle is Rockwell American QR060596, 17059-169 cap: 12,000 LBS 17-1/2inch wheels I bought Kit Item # K2HR12A11-120DW and this dosent fit.

Since Dexter owns Rockwell now the correct parts you'd need to install disc brakes on a 12k Rockwell axle is the idler hub part # 8-214-8UC1 and the disc brake kit # K2R1258L12. The disc brake kit is sold per axle whereas the hubs are sold individually.

As long as your Dexter 12k axles have idler hubs installed on them Kodiak Disc Brake Kit #K2R1258L12 is a confirmed fit that would work well. An idler hub is a hub that does not have a brake drum or rotor built into it.

On the label for your axle there will be the capacity listed. If you see just 12k or 12,000 lb axle then the #K2R1258L12 would work. If you see 12k HD or heavy duty then it would not.
