Replacement Hub And Drums For Dexter 12K Axle

Question:

Hi there I am trying to do a mild restore on my 40 gooseneck load trail. It currently has 12k Dexter axles d120 with Dexter pin mount disc brakes . The pins broke and most of it is worn. I want to find a kit for both axles, ideally hubs, bearing, races, seals , and brake components. Im ok with relocating the brake caliper mount if needed. if it helps my current hub bearings read - 3984 and 28682 thanks so much for any help! We have been lost trying to figure this all out.

We have the perfect idler hub set up for you!

The Dexter Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 12,000-lb Axles # 8-214-8UC1 has an inner bearing # 3984 and an outer bearing # 28682. The idler hub has a bolt pattern of 8 on 6-1/2 inches. The hub has an oil bath system that allows for easy maintenance. The Drum and Mounting Bolts # 7-103 are sold separately.

The Kodiak Disc Brake Kit # K2HR12A11-120DW will not work with your 12K Dexter axle because this kit is only for a 12,000 ALKO axle. The Kodiak Disc Brake Kit # K2R1258L12 will work with your 12,000 pound Dexter axle if you have the standard duty 12,000 pound axle. It will not fit a Heavy Duty 12,000 pound axle. If you need help determining which you have please reach back out to me with your axle serial number which is located on the sticker on the axle or could also be stamped on the axle tube on the rear of the axle on the passenger side.

I attached a review video link below.
