Recommended Tailgate Lift Assist for Trailer with 24" Rail Height

The specs say for 12inch to 18inch sides , and in the qanda section say 10inch to 24inch sides ? Which is correct ? My sides to 24inch . Can i use this product ? Is there different install dimensions for a 24inch side install ? Thanks

I do have an option for you but the EZ Gate Tailgate Lift Assist for Open Landscape Trailers part # 3375201000 is designed for a rail height between 12 and 18". For a 24" rail height, I recommend the Gorilla-Lift Utility Trailer Tailgate Lift Assist part # GL1.

I recommend replacing an entire ladder if it's damaged. You'll want to find a replacement based on the height. Such as the Stromberg Carlson #LA-401 that is 99-1/2 inches tall. They can be cut shorter to customize the length if needed.
