Installation Instructions for the Draw-Tite Hitch 75251 on a 2011 Dodge Dakota
Question:
Hi. Quick question I hope regarding installation of hitch #75251 on a 2011 Dodge Dakota. I watched the video and the actual installation looks straightforward, but can you please confirm if I can do this installation *without* lifting the truck? Seems like that wont be an issue but want to be sure. Thanks

I would be happy to help you. The Draw-Tite item # 75251 is a confirmed fit for your 2011 Dodge Dakota and does not require a lift to install it. I have linked an instruction video below that will help you understand the process involved with doing this installation. Our guys use a lift to better demonstrate how the hitch is installed. If you can slide underneath the truck you won't need to lift it off the ground. You can also use jacks to get some additional clearance as well. You will want someone to help you mount the hitch. I have also attached the installation instructions.
If your truck doesn't have a wiring harness you will want the item # 118323. You will also need the Curt Towing Starter Kit for 2" Hitches item # C45534.
