How To Determine Which Wire Is Power And Ground When Installing A Venture Slide-Out Motor

i bought a venture slide out motor for my hideout trailer by key stone. therefoot a white wire and a white wire with a purple stripe. which wire connects to the black and witch wire does the white connect to on the motor?

The red wire on the Replacement 18:1 High Speed Motor Assembly for Lippert Components Venture Actuator and Slide-Out # LC295380 is your power and the black is your ground. You'll need to test your white and white/purple wires with a multimeter # PT89ZR to determine which is your power wire and which is your ground.
If both wires are showing 0v then have someone press the control button for the slide-out either in or out so that power is sent to the wire.
