Stealth Trailer Hitch Receiver and Wiring For a 2013 BMW X5 With M Performance Package
Question:
Hello, I have a BMW X5 with the M performance package. Can you recommend a hitch for this vehicle? I prefer something that is hidden. Thanks

The Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # SH29VR is confirmed to fit your 2013 BMW X5 with the M performance package. This receiver is completely hidden by removing the receiver tube that is for carrying hitch mounted accessories. If you are looking to tow a trailer you will need the Ball Mount # 391BMU5S with the correct size hitch ball for your trailer.
1-7/8" Ball # C40002
2" Ball # 40038
2-5/16" Ball # C40007
The ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119250KIT will give you a 4-way flat connector that is needed for most small trailers. It can also be used to add Auxiliary Lights # C53201 to any hitch mounted accessory that impairs the view of your tail lights. For larger trailers that use a 7-way you will need the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7 and a Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED52VR. This will connect to the 4-way listed above and provides you with the wiring to install the 7-way and controller.
