Do Different Timbren Axle-Less Suspension Systems Have the Same Camber and Ride Height

Question:

If you wanted to mix a Timbern 4inch 2000 lb without brakes and a Timbern 4inch 3500 lb with brakes is it an exact match as far as attaching to the trailer frame and it being aligned with caster and camber as well as ride height?

The caster and camber could be the same on the # TASR35HDS03 and # ASR2KHDS05. The system has a slight manufacture camber. However, it is up to you on how much camber you have based on the installation. This can be changed using the included shims.

As far as the ride height is concerned, these do not have the same dimensions. This will result in a different height between the systems when installed. The # TASR35HDS03 will also stick out farther.

Since there is no real advantage to using two different systems I would recommend choosing two of the same capacity. If you choose to use the # ASR2KHDS05 you could use # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K for the hub and drum assembly, # AKEBRK-35-SA for brakes, and # AKIHUB-545-35-K for an idler hub on the pair without brakes.

The # TASR35HDS03 uses 6,000 lb hub and drum assemblies so you would need different parts. I recommend the # AKHD-655-6-EZ-K, # AKEBRK-6, and # AKIHUB-655-6-EZ-K for this setup.
