Highest Capacity E-Bike Bike Rack for Use w/ a Travel Trailer
Question:
We have an OutdoorsRV trailer with full suspension and a weight distribution hitch which limits the bounce at the back of the trailer. We also have a frame welded hitch on the back of the trailer. We currently have a Yakima rack that we use for road and mountain bikes. Why wouldn’t the RV Rider work on our trailer for E-bikes?

Thanks for the picture! I spoke with my rep at Hollywood Racks and confirmed the information on our website. The Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches item # HLY64FR is not compatible with travel trailers. The carrier is not built to withstand the extra bouncing and stress that comes with a bike rack being on the back of a travel trailer. Even though you have your Outdoors RV trailer's set up to reduce these issues the warranty on this bike rack is general and excludes all travel trailers.
I do have an alternative for you that is rated to be used on the back of a travel trailer. It is the Lets Go Aero V-Lectric FAT PRO Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches item # LGA77FR. This is a wheel mount bike rack that has a 75 lbs capacity per bike.
