Carrier for Rad Rover V5 Fat e-Bikes on Travel Trailer
Question:
I am looking for a bike rack certified to go on the back of a travel trailer to carry electric bikes. My travel trailer came equipped with a 350/3500 lb hitch. The rack need to be able to carry 2 Rad 5 Power bikes with 6inch wide tires. I currently have a Hollywood Rack, however, their rack breaks down if you use it on the back of a travel trailer due to minor sway and the torque it puts on their rack. Thank you

Are you certain about the tire width you stated?
According to their website, the Rad Rover version 5 has 4 inch wide tires. If that's the case, I'd recommend the Swagman E-Spec, part # S94FR which can handle 2 bikes weighing up to 70 lbs each, and if the Fat Bike adapter, part # S64679 is added the rack will be able to accommodate tires up to 5 inches in width. This rack is compatible with use on a travel trailer, but you'll need to remove the pin in the folding mechanism and replace it with the provided bolt, washers and nut..
If the tires are indeed 6 inches wide, unfortunately we don't offer anything that would work for you.
