Good news! You will not have to sacrifice your tow hooks on your 2012 Toyota Tundra when installing the Draw-Tite Front Mount Hitch # 65080.

The installation instructions are attached, and the very first step is to remove the hooks, but, keep them to reinstall later.

Just a side note is that if your Tundra has a front skid shield it will need to be removed so you will have access to your engine oil filter.

The biggest difference between the Curt front hitch part #31198 and Draw-tite front hitch part #65080 is that the Draw-tite receiver tube extends out more than the Curt by over an inch. This makes it more visible when nothing is mounted to it.…

With the Curt front hitch part #31198 installed on your 2007 Toyota Tundra you will have to remove it every time you need to change the oil.
