Does The Malone MicroSport Trailer Come With Load Straps?

Question:

Im thinking of purchasing this trailer to carry two Old Town 106 Sportsman kayaks. Ive tried carrying one on my roof rack realizing these are just heavier than I prefer to deal with on rack system. First, What is the wiring connections type for this trailer? is it the same as the Microsport Lowbed trailer for two heavy kayaks? That wiring system seems better and more waterproof than some of the other quick connect systems on your other trailers. Basing this on reviews of your other products as well. I will be submerging this trailer in the water to unload my kayaks. Plus I dont want to have to splice or cut wires to assemble it. See photo below for what I understand is a better type of system. Second, does this trailer come with the four straps to strap down the kayaks or are these sold separately? Third, I have a 2015 Lincoln Navigator. Do you sale a compatible ball and hitch system that would fit this vehicle and keep the trailer setting level when hooked up? Of course, electronically compatible as well. I appreciate all your help!

Sure thing!

1. As far as the wiring connections go, the Malone MicroSport Trailer for 2 Heavy Kayaks # MPG461B2, this trailer will feature a similar connection style as the LowBed, but features a more secure, durable, sheathed connector.

2. This trailer does also include 2 bunk kits # MPG561 for a total of 4 load straps.

3. To be able to tow this trailer, all you'll need is a ball mount, and a 2" ball # DT49MR. In order to get the correct ball mount, you're going to need to measure the rise & drop for your vehicle.

I have included an FAQ that goes into a bit more detail on this so you can choose the correct one.

To do this, measure from the ground to the bottom of the coupler, and then from the ground to the top of the receiver tube. The difference between those two will give you the rise or drop you need.
