There are 2 things that may be occurring that would cause the issue with your travel trailer when connecting to your 2022 Nissan Frontier.
First the Breakaway Switch # FA80-00-2060 on your trailer may be pulled or faulty. This would cause the trailer brakes to be activated at all times, which would quickly drain the battery and explain why it locks up when you connect your 7-way with the charge line. You can physically test the switch to insure it is inserted and check the wiring for any visible damage. A Test Light # PTW2993 will also allow you to check both sides of the wiring for power when it is connected to your trailer.
Next is the brake wire and charge line wire somehow got switched on the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118266 when it was installed or was that way from the manufacturer it would cause the brakes to activate when it is connected. I have added an image of the ports on the 7-way and you can test them with the Test Light # PTW2993 to determine if they are in the wrong position with any of their functions. Be sure to check the wiring function and not rely on the color of the wires.
