Recommended Upgraded Tire For My 2020 Coachman Spirit Ultra Lite Travel Trailer

Question:

I have a 2020 Coachman Spirit Ultra Lite Travel Trailer 2963BH. It has a GVWR of 7600 pounds. It currently has its original ST205/75R14 5 on 4 ½ tires. One of those tires recently blew-out while on a trip. I was hoping to get a Load Range E 10 ply tire to replace all the tires and the spare. I like to over engineer most solutions to help avoid break-downs. Could I go up to a R15 tire and wheels for my travel trailer? If not, what is the most robust 14R tire and wheel available to carry the most weight for my travel trailer? Thanks for the help,

When it comes to upgrading your ST205/75R14 you can switch up to a ST205/75R15 but both tires will have a 8-ply tire, we do not have a 10-ply tire in the ST205/75R14 or the ST205/75R15.

The Kenda Karrier ST205/75R14 Radial Tire w/ 14 inch Series T09 Aluminum Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - LR D # AM34659 has a maximum load of 2,200 pounds at 75 psi. It has a load range D and has a 8 ply rating, with a maximum speed of 81 mph.

The Westlake ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 15" Black Spoke Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range D # WST44FR has a maximum load of 2,150 pounds at 65 psi. It has a load range D and has a 8 ply rating, with a maximum speed of 75 mph.

I would recommend sticking with The Kenda Karrier ST205/75R14 Radial Tire w/ 14 inch Series T09 Aluminum Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - LR D # AM34659 because you get a little bit more out of it.
