Spacer Recommendation for a 2006 Chevy 2500HD with a 2 in Lift Installing Timbrens
Question:
I have a 2006 Chevy 2500HD Crewcab 4x4 with the diesel engine. I am mounting a snow plow and thought I would install a 2inch lift indexed keys for the torsion bars and blocks in the rear. I have run Timbrens on other trucks and thought I should put them on the front and rear. I will have 1000 lbs of counter weight behind the rear axle when plowing and pull a 7000 lb trailer all Summer. I rarely run the truck without the plow or the trailer. Do you have other recommendations or suggestions? Do I need special spacers to have the Timbrens in constant contact or maybe 1/4inch of space?

What you would want to use is a Timbren Spacer for Raised vehicles # A25723-90AH00. This spacer is 1 inch thick so you would want to use two of them since you have a 2 inch lift.
For the rear you would want the Timbren Rear Suspension System # TGMRCK25S, for the front you would want the Timbren Front Suspension System # TGMFK25S.
Since you will need 2 spacers per Timbren and you plan on putting them on the front and rear axles is looks like you would need a total of 8 spacers.
