Distance From Frame to Spindle on Timbren Axle-Less 5,200 Lb with 4" Lift

Question:

On the Timbren axle less 5200 # 4inch spindle, what is the measurement from the bottom frame mount to the center of the spindle? Looking at the axle less conversion for my 5th wheel camper.

In regards to the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System part # TASR5200S03, the distance from the bottom of the frame to the center of the spindle is 7-5/16" with a deflection of 2-3/4" which you can see in the attached photo. The deflection simply means how much the rubber springs can compress under load but the amount of compression will vary by trailer.

If you are replacing another 5,200 lb axle you can reuse the brakes and hubs/drum but if you're going with a different capacity you will need new ones. I recommend the Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brake Kit part # 23-458-459 and Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly part # 8-201-5UC3-EZ.
