Can Model 60 Actuator for Disc Brakes be Converted to Drum Brakes

Question:

hello, I am rebuilding my ezloade trailer brakes system. As the parts are so expensive I bough a used Titan model 60 brake actuator 6000 lbs but it came from a disk brake trailer. On my trailer I have drum brakes. I read on your other answers that I would need to reduce the pressure of 1500 psi for brakes to max 1000 psi for drums. There are recommendations to change the master cylinder or solution #2 is to add a pressure reducer inline. I am interested in the second option, do you have any product to reduce the pressure from 1500psi to 1000psi ? Thank you,

Expert Reply:

We don't have a way to reduce the pressure in the master cylinder but what you can do is replace the master cylinder with the part # T4395100 and the pressure would be lowered enough to use with drum brakes.
