How Far Should Grease Seal GS-2125DL Be Pushed In When Installing
Question:
Do you install the grease seal #2125 until the outer surface is flush with the hub inner face or until the seal bottoms out against the lip inside the hub? It seems if I stop at the point the seal is flush, there will be too much play in the inner bearing. The idler hub is an UFP #41271 and I believe the spindle is #42.

The Grease Seal part # GS-2125DL will need to be driven in until the face of the seal is flush with the inside face of the hub. There may or may not be a bit of space left over but you only need to drive in until flush with the outside.
