Complete Flat Towing Set up For 2014 Honda Pilot

Question:

Is it possible for you guys to basically build me a flat tow set up for my 2014 Honda Pilot? I will be flat towing it with a 2017 Thor 31FE Class C. I am looking for the best set up, BUT I also am sort of cheap, so the cheaper the set up the better too. Thanks

We can absolutely get you a complete flat towing set up for your 2014 Honda Pilot; and we'll go ahead and call it the best value for your vehicle. I'll go ahead and list out what you'll need:

- Base Plate Kit: Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit # 521568-1

- Tow Bar: etrailer SD Non-Binding Tow Bar for Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plates # e44ZR

- Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267

- Supplemental Braking System: Brake Buddy Classic 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39494

Roadmaster is known for their high quality, and this crossbar-style base plate is no different, but is still the best value for your Pilot. The SD tow bar is the best option because it has long arms which make it easier to maneuver when towing, along with integrated safety cables and an adjustable tilting head so a high-low adapter won't be needed. Having these features on a tow bar means you won't have to purchase them separately, saving you additional expenses.

I really like the Flexo-Coil wiring kit because it is designed to prevent any type of electrical feedback, keeping your Pilot's electrical system safe. As for the braking system, the Brake Buddy Classic is an easy to use, no-frills portable system that gives you consistent braking power at all times. It even has a 15-amp charger to charger your Pilot's battery as your towing it.
