Question:
do you make a smaller clamp? My sonic has a 2 inch square pedal and the clamp sometimes will slide off

I took a look to see if Brake Buddy offers a smaller clevis for their Brake Buddy Classic 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System # HM39494, and they unfortunately do not.
However, their clevis is designed to fit almost any type of brake pedal regardless of shape or size. I also went ahead and checked the instruction manual to see if there was any tips for smaller brake pedals, and it stated:
Step 1. Turn the bottom jaw (A) of the clevis to either make the clevis smaller or wider so it fits over your vehicle’s brake pedal. Set the clevis so that it just fits over your brake pedal without too much hassle.
Step 2. Once on the brake pedal, twist the quick release lever (B) to lock the clevis into place.
Step 3. Once the clevis is set, turn the handle to remove the clevis from the brake pedal.
Form here to install the clevis on the Brake Buddy you will need to pull the R-clip from the cotter pin to remove the clevis from the threaded yoke (C), then thread the yoke on the cylinder arm of the Brake Buddy.
Finally, you will just need to replace the cotter pin and R-clip
I have included a diagram of the clevis with the corresponding letters from the above instructions for you to check out.
I recommend trying to re-fit the clevis to your 2013 Chevrolet Sonic's brake pedal once again, using the instructions above to guide you.
