Removing Existing Hitch From 2009 Chevy Silverado
Question:
Im interested in a hitch i have a 2009 chevy silverado 4.3 work truck the old one thats on there I never used it looks well abused there are 4 bolts that attach to the frame then there are two bolts for the bumper the bumper bolts do they have a nut on them if so the only way to access that nut so it dont spin is remove the bumper or are those bumper bolts just screwed into something solid

Expert Reply:
The bolts you mentioned are secured by nuts that are welded to the truck's crossmember. Before loosening them, you'll want to spray them down with a spray lubricant.
