What High-Capacity Hitch do You Recommend for My 2001 Fleetwood Discovery Motorhome?
Question:
Hey there! I saw your response to someone looking for a class V hitch. I only need a 10,000# capacity with a 51” outside to outside measurement. Recommendations?

If you have a 51-inch wide frame (from left to right) on your 2001 Fleetwood Discovery Motorhome, we do have options. For the closest weight capacity to your required 10,000 pound capacity (without going under), I recommend the Class V Universal Weld-on Receiver Hitch # 15903. Since this hitch fits frame between 18-61 inches long, it is perfect for the width of your frame. The only other lighter capacity hitches we carry do not accommodate your 51-inch wide frame. This hitch does have a 2-inch opening which is compatible with most accessories.
