Are CE27840 Bunk Boards Carpeted on All Four Sides?

I want to mount these vertically on the guides i built for the trailer. my question is how is the carpet wrapped, is there any bare wood showing on the bottom side as this side will be facing out when i mount them on my guides.

The bunk boards you referenced, part # CE27840, are wrapped with carpet on all four sides. No bare wood is showing, as the carpet overlaps approximately 3/4 inch for the length of the bunk board on the underside. I have included an illustration showing the location of the seam.

It's not needed to glue the bunk board carpet like #CE11349 as well as staple it. With just staples you'd be fine.

When we installed the CE Smith Deluxe Marine-Grade Carpeting #CE11349 we used 9/16" long staples as you can see from the attached installation video. You can use the same size or a similar size if you already have some staples.
