The weight distribution heads will always have a 1-1/4 inch hole for the ball shank. Therefore, the replacement round bar head, part # RP58112, will accommodate a hitch ball with a 1-1/4 inch shank.

The Replacement Head for Reese Weight Distribution System #RP58112 will work as a replacement head for your 1,200 lb round bar system. The S1 or S2 stamped on the side of the head doesn't make a difference.

Based on what you described we have two options that should be what you need. If you have a trunnion (square bar) setup the head you would need is the part #RP58167. Or if the spring bars are round the part #RP58112 would be what you need.
