How to Further Tilt Head of Reese Weight Distribution System Rearward
Question:
I can’t figure it out. Is there a different part that allows the head to tilt towards the trailer. This one is level at maximum setting. Can’t tilt towards the trailer. Just towards the tow vehicle. Number 6 setting

If you're unable to tilt the weight distribution head further toward the trailer, the head is already set to its furthest rearward tilt. To lower the ends of the spring bars by tilting the heat toward the trailer, you'll need to lower the weight distribution head by one set of holes on the shank. Once you do that, the ends of the bars will be lower. You might find that you'll need to adjust the tilt further toward the tow vehicle to get the desired height.
I've linked to the install/setup instructions for a # RP67509 weight distribution system that uses the # RP58812 head you'd looked at which explains how to adjust the tilt.
