Draw-Tite vs. Curt Trailer Hitch For 2022 Kia Carnival
Question:
Is there any difference between the draw-tite and curt trailer hitches for my 2022 kia carnival?

There are only some minor differences between the two trailer hitch receivers for your 2022 Kia Carnival, which are the following part numbers:
- Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT34GR
- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C67ER
One of those minor differences is the install, in which the Curt has you trim and reinstall the trim panel that is underneath your Carnival, while you'll leave it off completely for the Draw-Tite. However, you do not have to reinstall the panel with the Curt if you don't want to. Leaving it off completely won't affect anything, but if you want it on, go with the Curt # C67ER.
The only other difference is that the Draw-Tite has a tab that allows you to mount a 4-way bracket, so it will be simpler to install, as you would have to get an extra bracket or drill into your bumper fascia with the Curt. So if you are going to be towing with your '22 Carnival, I do recommend the Draw-Tite # DT34GR.
For the 4-way and mounting bracket, what you will need is the Mounting Bracket 4-Pole Flat # 18144 and Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # CU94FR.
