Shorter Rear Jack Legs for Lippert Ground Control System to Help with Ground Clearance

Question:

I purchased a Crossroads Aire 3 months ago and I tow with a Ford F250 no lift but sits high. So when I tow I am towing high at the king pin. I have a Anderson hitch and I can not or raise my king pin to try and the rear of the fifth wheel. I am at the least amount of clearance between the truck and underpin / underbelly of the RV. The 3.0 jacks on the rear have maybe 5inch of clearance and I really believe it is just a matter of time until one if not both of them get damaged during towing. I am already talking to weld shops about lifting the 5th wheel but is there a shorter 3.0 I can put on the fifth wheel? I can not raise the jack up any sets of holes due to no available room above the motor and the frame of the fifth wheel. I would rather use pads if necessary for leveling than wait until I rip of $1,000 worth of jacks. What are your suggestions? Thank you in advance

Expert Reply:

Lippert actually has 2 inch shorter versions of the rear jacks of the Lippert ground control with the part # LC342610 for the left rear and then # LC428493 for the right hand side.

We also have the lift kit part # RR23QX which can give your trailer a lift of 2-1/4 inches as well.
