When it comes to the ground clearance when using the 24x60 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Steel - Tilting - Folding # e98874 on your 2019 Honda Pilot, it depends on the ground clearance of your hitch receiver. For example if you have the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit # e98840 mounted on your 2019 Honda Pilot, that hitch measures 13 inches from the bottom surface of the receiver to the ground. Since the cargo carrier has a 2-inch rise on the shank, you would have a 15 inch ground clearance. If you have a hitch installed already, I recommend measuring from the ground to the lower lip of the hitch receiver and adding the 2 inches of rise to that measurement to get your clearance. I went ahead and attached a video of a 2018 Honda Pilot with the carrier # e98874 to give you perspective.

If you find that you need more ground clearance, I recommend using the Malone 2" Dual Purpose Hitch Receiver
# MPG544 and using the top receiver tube. This will give you 7-1/2 inches of additional height while using the carrier. It is important to note that you will be reducing your overall weight capacity on your hitch by 50% when using an adaptor.

For extra security for your cargo carrier, I recommend the Threaded Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin Lock for etrailer Cargo Carriers # e99047.
