Does Stealth Hitch Tow Package Upgrade Kit Come with Two Sets of Safety Chain Loops
Question:
I purchased the Stealth hitch with the 2inch receiver, as well as the Towing Package Upgrade Kit. I didnt open the boxes, but took them to the auto body location that was doing the install. I was reluctant to remove bumper and pay what hitch and installation cost, but my car was hit by another driver, so her insurance covered bumper removal and reinstallation. Theyve installed the hitch, but lost the literature that came with it. In addition, they did not install the safety chain loops when they installed the center block. So now I have these extra parts. There seem to be two sets of safety chain loops, and another package of extra? bolts, washers and nuts. I dont think the hitch/receiver kit would come with safety chain loops, as it is not meant for towing without the upgrade kit. So does the upgrade towing package kit come with two different sets of safety chain loops? And if so, why? Different trailer class ratings? Are extra parts sent for the connecting of the hitch itself? I think the instructions, with a parts list, will clarify, and supposedly a replacement one is on its way.

The Towing Kit w/ Ball Mount and Trailer Wiring for Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # SH82VR does come with two sets of safety chain loops that attach to the block of the Stealth hitch # 391AUDQ319 as well as two different sets of bolts to hold them on. You'll notice that the holes for the safety chain loops are two different sizes based on the diameter of the two sets of included bolt diameters.
I linked the install instructions for this for you to check out as well.
