I recommend going with the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e55ZR for your 2021 Subaru Ascent because it installs behind your bumper so it's completely hidden when you put the fascia back on, and it has a matte black finish which blends in really well with that fascia. You can see this in the installation video and photo that I'm attaching.
If you don't already have a bike rack then I also recommend checking out the Kuat NV 2.0 # NV22G. This is arguably my favorite bike rack on the market because it combines a really sleek look with well thought out engineering. Each feature is easy to use and is built into the bike rack so you don't forget it (aside from the locking hitch pin). We actually had the opportunity to install this rack on a 2020 Ascent so I've linked that for you to reference as well.
