Will the Thule EasyFold XT Clear a Spare Tire on My Jeep Wrangler Rubicon?

When considering whether the Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # TH903202 will clear a spare tire on your Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, it depends on how close your hitch receiver installs to the bumper as well as the width of your spare tire. On a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, for instance, the factory spare tire size is 285/70-17. This means that you have a width of 10.8 inches. In addition to the 10.8 inches, you have to factor in the length of recession of a compatible hitch. Since the upright bar of the Thule EasyFold XT is only 8 inches from the center of the shank's pinhole, it will not be able to fit a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon.

In order to know for sure whether it will clear the spare tire from your hitch, I recommend measuring the center pinhole of your hitch.
