Recommended Trailer Hitch and Wiring Harness for 2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer

I have a 2022 TrailBlazer and I want to add a hitch and whatever else I need for towing. Just the basic stuff for lights. What do you recommend?

For your 2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer I recommend the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT55GR. This Class III hitch has a 2" receiver with a maximum gross trailer weight of 3,500 lbs and tongue weight of 525 lbs but make sure to check your owner's manual to verify your towing capabilities. It also has a concealed cross tube to help maintain a factory look.

For wiring, I recommend the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # TK39FR. This plugs directly into existing wiring and will provide a 4-way connection to power your trailer's signal lights. For a ball mount, I recommend the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989899 which comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball.
